I am a born leader?

I did a quiz in a magazine and this is what it said :

You're a born leader
Only two percent of the world's population fall under this category of being extroverted, intuitive, thinking and judging individuals. Others tend to look to you for guidance and you're more than happy to tell them exactly what to do.

Serious? Only two percent? People come to me for guidance? Wow!
My life is a mess right now and I can still guide people???? Unbelievable!

No, I don't want to go into details but yes, my life is a little fucked right now. I need to seriously clear my head and decide what I want.

Anyway, my problems aside, I had a very interesting weekend. One full of god damn functions! I had three places to be at yesterday. And all three events calls for different dress codes so I had to carry around with me different outfits, my shower stuff (I had to shower at the office after the pink dot event! grossed out!!), a full make up bag, styling products, different pairs of shoes, flat iron and hair curlers! It was fun but really tiring. At the end of the night, before reaching home, I realized that I only had half a doughnut (shared with Shanice when I was leaving the house), two coffees, massive amount of Johnnie Walker + Hennessy + McCallum in my stomach. Thank god Ivan drove me home so we decided to stop at the prata shop to feed me and chit chat on.

It was fun but I realized that I am old now. My body is already showing signs of fatigue after a hardcore day. Haiz....looks like I need a lot, a lot of chicken soup (anyone kind enough to show me some love by cooking me soup?) to keep moi going.

I'm tired now so I am keeping this entry short. Have fun with the photos!

Jolin and I kena STOMP!

And now we are mini celebrities (so AW said that)....wahahahahaha! This is my third appearance in STOMP and I see that my photos were all taken in the clubs. *gulp* This is the latest one taken at Boiler. No, I don't know where I was looking.

So, what's the fuss about Boiler and why do we go there all the time? Well, I guess it's the music, the crowd, the performers, the staff, the everything!

Erm...no, I didn't start going to Boiler because I met "him" (I met him over a year ago can?). Well, I admit recently I've been there a little more frequently but hey, that's what liking someone is like, isn't it?

Anyway, back to the topic...Boiler - hmmm....it's a place that makes me comfortable I guess. I've been to the other clubs like Power House, Movida, Dragonfly but I always start twitching after about 20 minutes. Boiler is the place that I feel right at home.

Shah - our all-time favorite manager at Boiler

Patrick my idol! He performs at Boiler with his band, Soulkool. Unfortunately, he is returning home to Philippines this Sunday. You can still catch him if you want to. His last set will be tomorrow night at where else - Boiler!

Where good friends come together.....

For drinks or gatherings, it somehow seems to all take place at Boiler?

I am a procrastinator

Always cannot make up my mind. Don't dare to go for it. Sit around and try to tell myself and the other person that I am cool and I can make it. Why didn't I get it after so many times? Silly me! Argh!!!!!

See.....:

Libra is a cardinal, movable sign motivated by the air element, which means that decision-making can be quite a challenge for both of you. Your emotional and mental compatibility is certainly strong, but you’ll have to work at the practical aspects of life. This is an area where two Librans in partnership raises some rather important questions.

You’ll both have to learn to be more decisive and to stick to your opinions, or at least to agree on a course of action even when you have differing views. Take on only the practical tasks you know you can do. Why not simply draw straws to see who does what around the house? Once you sort out this stuff, you’ll probably cut the tension right down.

It’s not a well-known fact, but Libra has a revolutionary spirit, and is often demanding. The notion that you are always calm and placid couldn’t be further from the truth. You want peace and harmony, but wanting and having it are two different things.

Sometimes Librans lose themselves in the hectic flow of life and social events, and forget to take care of emotional issues: try not to let conflicts or grudges fester — they could undermine what is otherwise a perfectly fine relationship. If you’re planning a lasting relationship, this issue must be addressed.

Irrespective of any difficulties, you’re both upbeat and easy-going, and you both love harmony and beauty, and this will be the power behind your relationship. The really sweet moments between you are caused by Venus, your common ruler — she will always help break any deadlock
.

You will give each other warmth, comfort and physical intimacy. Libra knows how to love and nurture, and you’ll both sense that your star twin knows just what you need and when you need it.
Go slowly when you meet, though: Librans are prone to fall in love with a dream rather than a person. Try to do a little thinking and checking before you are swept up in a raging tide of passion.

By and large, compatibility between people of the same star sign is either superb or doomed to utter failure. For Libra it depends on how capable you are of finding balance, especially in the decision-making area.

If you’re looking for affection, Librans born between 23 September and 3 October will fit the bill. Venus promises love and fondness with these people. There’s no doubt your intimate moments will be treasured by both of you.

If you want something offbeat, unexpected and surprising, try Librans born between 4 October and 13 October — they will absolutely knock you off your feet. Mind you, a calm existence won’t necessarily be the result of a partnership with these very exciting people.

You will have an immediate intellectual connection with Librans born between 14 October and 23 October. These people are very much in tune with you, and you can spend hours and hours sharing your thoughts and coming up with new ideas. Humour and wit are also part of this mix.

Thank God for Friendships that are real....

...to get me through it all. Because life sometimes just don't turn out to be my fantasy. Familiar? Not surprising. This was once mentioned by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City.

Many times, when I feel low and lost, I turn around and am just grateful that I have a bunch of friends that are always there. There to pass me loads of tissue when I cry; there to lend a shoulder when I break down; there to support me when I am pissed with the whole world; there to laugh with me when good things happen and simply being there when they could be somewhere else.

Sometimes, life gets a bit complicated and we drift apart a little. Meet ups are lesser, phonecalls are shorter, tempers flare a little and emotions run a bit too high. But that's what friendships are - despite the bad, we are still friends forever.

It's not International Friendship Day. Duh. But this is one of the more emo nights when I look at photos and start feeling a little touched that despite my bitchiness, my bad temper, my swearing, I still have these angels in my life looking out for me.

Have you not met up with your friends recently? Feel like seeing them? Feel like calling them up just to say Hello? Feel like reminiscing over a cup of coffee? Go ahead, pick up the phone and just dial the number. Even a SMS might work. Trust me, you won't regret it. ^_^

And no, I am not bullshitting. I am truly having a good time with my old friends of 15 years as well as new found friends of a couple of years or lesser. As well as with Sea Cucumber who grew up with me. It just take a few calls and text messages and the fun begins...............

Bestties do not run away when you shit. They shit with you.
Just ask Sea Cucumber.

Zann - my very tall girlfriend....and a very short me.......

Jasmine, whom I've known since primary school. And Karen, since secondary one.

And that's Lawrence - the thorn among the roses! Or is it the other way round?

A toast to Friendships!

Bad Hangover Again.....

Yes, I know. I should have stopped or at least cut down on drinking already. But silly me haven't done it. And apparently has no determination when I said I want to cut down on my alcohol intake.

Oh gosh, this is so very bad. I realize that as age catches up, my body no longer reacts to hangovers in a nice way. Puking is one thing but the gastric pain is the climax. Haiz.....I seriously better stop drinking. -____-

Anyway, in my drunken stupor last night or rather this morning, I lost my contact lenses. God knows at which point I took them out or where I left them. And somehow in the process, I scratched my right eye. Which hurts like hell now. And at this time, my good old dog decided to step in to make me feel better. She has been an angel the whole day when I just lay in bed and not move. Yes, bad habit - whenever I get a bad hangover, I lie in bed the whole day and not do anything. Not smoking, eating or drinking. Cos the moment I move, I either feel like puking or feel like fainting. And she must have realized that I am not well and was in pain cos she jumped onto the bed, sat beside me and licked my right eye. Everyone - awwwwww...so sweet! Very cute of her right?

These are the times when I feel like she is a human. She seems to know when I am in pain. She knows when I am sad (cos whenever I cry, she will come and lick away the tears). She knows when I am angry. She knows when I want to be alone and she will just stay at a corner.

Some say a dog will always be a dog. They can be sweet and all but they are still dogs. But think again, they are sometimes much more humane than humans. They are the ones that gives us unconditional love. They are the ones that stands by us whenever we are down. They are the ones that treat you as their world.

Come on....look at my lovely baby.........
